Oklahoma City Explosion
1) ARTI Chief, Doug Copp in front of the main building. Did you know that 26
buildings were destroyed with victims trapped in some other buildings. Many
things that happened at the explosion were never made public. Can you imagine 13
Federal Bureaucracies fighting for jurisdiction, budget and media attention?
2) A Mexican ARTI member giving a Spanish Language Television Interview. The
Spanish-speaking media was much more candid about the 'Reality of Oklahoma
City'. The truth will become known when Copp's Book is published.
3) A blown-up mess. ARTI arrived at the scene within 5 hours of occurrence. FEMA
arrived 2 days later.
4) Another behind the scenes shot. The media had a feed from only one camera.
The press and media were kept in a roped off area well away from the site. The
police command center was placed next to them to keep them away from the scene.
5) The Bomb vehicle. Pieces of blown up cars. Scenes not seen... behind the
scene.
6) More behind the scenes. Pieces of evidence.
7) Why did the rescue dogs die? Some did! Because this poison was sprayed on the
site by the Oklahoma City Fire Dept. under the Orders of the Center for Disease
Control. The Dog's cut paws absorbed the poison. ARTI told them not to do it.
They did it anyway. Due to lack of Disaster Experience they had thought that the
decontaminate/poison was necessary to prevent infection from
bacteria/decomposing bodies. All that was needed was to spray water on the site.
People become sick from breathing the dust with bacteria on it. With water
sprayed there would be no dust; therefore, no illness.
We left the site shortly thereafter. We did not want our dogs to die and we
felt that 'rescue' was not as important as it should have been. ARTI Chief Doug
Copp gave Governor Keating a 20 minute briefing as to what he needed to do to
save the trapped victims. He said he would do his best. His best was a very BIG
disappointment to us.
We had learned about the mistake of spraying
decontaminate/disinfectant/poison ten years before when the mistake was made in
Greece.
We felt that the victims did not have a chance in the midst of what we
considered to be below ARTI's standards and we told that to the FBI when we were
later interviewed as to 'the goings-on at the explosion'. Someday the truth will
be known.
