Welcome to the American Rescue Team International's link to the University of
Plymouth's WWW Research Page which utilises the opportunities offered by the Internet
to collect data using online questionnaires.
Long Term Effects of PTSD
This questionnaire is part of a programme of research being conducted by Ian Robbins
and Nigel Hunt at the Department of Psychology, University of Plymouth, Devon, UK into the
long term psychological effects of war experience. We are interested in the experiences of
combat veterans of any war.
The questionnaire has sections dealing with Biographical Information, Combat Experience
and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It should take you about 30 minutes to complete all
three sections.
Because of the nature of the questions, it is possible that veterans may experience
some degree of distress when answering. If you think this might be a problem for you
please think carefully before proceeding. If you are currently suffering from Post
Traumatic Stress Disorder or other trauma-related problem, then you should consider
discussing the questionnaire with your therapist before proceeding.
To preserve confidentiality you will not be asked to provide your name or address.
Transmission of information across the Internet is not secure and could be observed by a
